The dog walking and grooming business, owned by Chris and Charlotte Harris, has further expanded to provide day care and overnight-boarding - and it’s been awarded a top rating (a total of four out of four stars) by Plymouth City Council after strict new regulations were introduced last year.
Chris said: “The dog walking and grooming has been a real success. We are almost completely full for dog walking at the moment and the grooming has grown quickly too. It made sense for us to open our home up for dog boarding as we have really got to know some of our Harris Hounds very well - and their owners too!”
He added: “With the recent changes to the boarding licence regulations that came into effect from October 2018, animal boarding establishments have undergone stricter compliance checks to ensure minimum standards are met. Without a licence being granted by a local authority, boarding activities cannot legally be undertaken. Therefore, it is important when choosing to board your pet that you ensure that they are licensed to do so. When you board your houndhere you can be assured that they will receive the best care.”
